Through the issuance of the hep Green Bond 2023/2028, capital is raised and provided in the form of unsecured intercompany loans bearing market-standard interest rates to existing or future companies within the hep global group. Those loans are used exclusively to finance the group’s Services business segment, which includes the planning, development, and execution of solar projects. In this way, the Green Bond helps accelerate the delivery of new photovoltaic systems and supports the continued expansion of renewable energy.
Green Bond 2021/2026: The Green Bond Issued by hep global GmbH
hep global GmbH, based in Güglingen, serves as the holding company of the hep global group, which develops, builds, and operates photovoltaic systems internationally. After issuance costs are deducted, about 75% of the proceeds from the hep Green Bond 2021/2026 are intended to fund the acquisition of future photovoltaic projects in the early and active development stages, including, where appropriate, the acquisition of project development companies. The remaining approximately 25% is intended to strengthen working capital and help expand the hep global group. The objective is to further build out the company’s value chain and support the development of new solar projects worldwide.
