hep global increases revenue and EBIT in the first half of 2026

hep global GmbH (hep global), a specialist in the development of solar projects, significantly improved its operating performance in the 1st half of 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, benefiting in particular from higher revenues from the project development of solar and battery storage projects and a reduced cost base. Revenue rose by around 72% to EUR 17.2 million (first half of 2025: EUR 10.0 million), while earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) turned positive again at EUR 0.3 million, compared to a loss of EUR -2.4 million in the same period of the previous year. The Group’s net loss for the first half year decreased from EUR -6.8 million to EUR -3.8 million.

The hep global Group (hep global), a specialist in the development of solar projects, has successfully completed the project development phase for its largest solar project to date in Germany. The 35.7 MWp “Buckeläcker” solar park in Eppingen, near the company’s headquarters in Güglingen, is moving into the construction phase.

The hep global Group is restructuring its management team for the next phase of development: Martin Vogt (44) is taking over the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective immediately. He succeeds company founder Christian Hamann (55), who is stepping down from the CEO role at his own request after nearly 17 years but will remain with the management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hamann had already assumed responsibility for the finance division in May 2026.

hep global successfully develops two solar projects with battery storage systems west of Munich

hep global GmbH (hep global), a specialist in the development of solar projects, has developed two solar projects with integrated battery storage systems in the neighboring districts of Ostallgäu and Unterallgäu. Construction of the “Buchloe” (8.4 MWp) and “Wiedergeltingen” (3.7 MWp) solar parks is scheduled to be completed before the end of this year. Construction is being coordinated by ZaberSolar GmbH.

hep global GmbH (hep global), a specialist in the development of solar projects, has developed a solar park with a capacity of 12.6 MWp and an integrated battery storage system in Mintraching, Bavaria, near Regensburg. Following receipt of all required permits, construction work has now begun. The construction contractor is ZaberSolar GmbH. Commissioning of the solar park is scheduled for the end of 2026.

hep global concludes fiscal year 2025 with a positive consolidated result

hep global GmbH (hep global), a specialist in the development of solar projects, has successfully concluded the fiscal year 2025 and significantly improved its profitability compared to the previous year. Based on the audited consolidated financial statements, the Group generated revenue of EUR 45.8 million (2024: EUR 43.5 million), which was within the most recently communicated forecast range (EUR 45 to 55 million), as was earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT). EBIT improved to EUR 10.8 million (2024: -EUR 4.8 million; forecast range: EUR 5 to 15 million). The consolidated result improved significantly from EUR -9.1 million to EUR 2.9 million. Operating cash flow also showed a very strong performance at EUR 8.1 million, compared to the previous figure of EUR -24.8 million.

hep global begins construction of an 8 MWp solar park with battery storage in Schongau

hep global GmbH (hep global), a specialist in the development of solar projects, has started construction of a solar park in Schongau, Bavaria. Solar park Schongau is an installation with a capacity of 8 MWp including an integrated battery storage system with a capacity of 6.1 MWh and an output of around 3 MW. The new facility is being built alongside an existing solar park. Project owner is hep energy GmbH, a subsidiary of hep global.
