Biessenhofen Solar Project

The Biessenhofen Solar Park is being developed on the northern edge of the municipality of Biessenhofen, on an area located between the B16 federal road, the Buchloe–Lindau railway line, and Lake Bachtelsee. Due to its immediate proximity to the Buchloe–Lindau railway corridor, the project site qualifies as a privileged area for solar development. The solar park will generate enough renewable energy to supply approximately 1,380 households and includes energy storage capacity capable of providing power for around two hours, even when the sun is not shining.

Schongau Solar Project

The Schongau Solar Park is being developed north of the residential area of Schongau, in direct proximity to a gravel plant. As the site is no longer used for agricultural purposes, it is ideally suited for renewable energy generation. The project includes the expansion of an existing solar park, further increasing the use of renewable energy in the region.

Buckeläcker Solar Project

With the Buckeläcker Solar Park, we are bringing the expertise we have gained internationally back to our home region. Covering an area of approximately 30 hectares, the solar park will generate around 38 million kilowatt-hours of electricity each year, enough to supply the equivalent of approximately 10,800 households. The electricity generated will be fed into the new substation currently being developed at Hohenstein.

Exciting developments are underway in Eppingen, with several solar parks currently in the planning stage. The Zimmerberg Solar Park will generate electricity for approximately 3,870 households per year on a site covering around 10.2 hectares. With a capacity of 12.4 MWp, the project will save approximately 5,230 tonnes of CO₂ annually and is designed for an operational lifespan of at least 30 years. A true future-oriented project for our city.
